United North Central Football Headed to State
After hitting rock bottom at 0-9 last season, the United North Central Warriors are Class AA – Section 8 champions. For the Warriors, a trip to the state tournament is a dream come true. But they never had their doubts. Now, they’ll take on perennial powerhouse Moose Lake-Willow River in their first game of the state tournament, and just like all season, will be underdogs. But with the strength of two communities behind them… that doesn’t matter for these Warriors.
