How Do You Use Media in Your Classroom?
Legacy Lesson Plans
At Lakeland PBS, we create many local productions thanks to the support of the Minnesota Legacy Amendment. These productions celebrate the unique art, history, and cultural stories that reflect our communities.
To help you bring these unique stories into your classrooms, we have developed lesson plans to accompany some of our favorite Legacy Productions.
On My Way To K Guidebook
Your whole child is rapidly growing and developing their physical abilities, social relationships, emotional awareness, and intellectual skills such as thinking, reasoning, and understanding. Areas of your child’s development are interconnected and often overlap so you may notice how growth in one area supports growth in another.
On My Way to K with PBS KIDS uses this whole-child approach to support caregivers in understanding preschool standards and the key developmental skills needed to be ready for Kindergarten. In this guide you will find caregiver-friendly explanations of standards, tips, activities, and resources to support your child in becoming a life-long learner from the start!
PBS LearningMedia™
Our PBS LearningMedia™ portal is your destination for direct access to thousands of classroom-ready, curriculum-targeted digital resources.
