Families with pets know that their furry friends are an important part of the family, that’s why Pet Fixers and the Kindest Cut have teamed up to help spay and neuter pets for low income families.

The two organizations travel throughout Minnesota helping out pet owners and their four-legged friends, and their latest stop was in Bemidji. Around 70 pet owners made appointments to get their dog or cat spayed our neutered at the pet clinic in Bemidji.

The Kindest Cut team has performed over 26,000 surgeries and makes safety the number one priority during a spay or neuter. But this team says it’s not just about the pet’s health in the operating room, but about making sure that these dogs and cats can be someone’s lifelong companion. Getting a dog or cat spayed or neutered ensures that they live longer, have a lower risk for cancer, and have less unwanted behaviors. So even though the cost is low, this team provides high quality care for pets and their owners too.

Pet Fixers next clinic will be Thursday, June 19th, in Grand Rapids, MN.
