Bemidji Boys’ Hockey Leads Early Before Falling to Moorhead

Bemidji boys’ hockey finished last season 11-13, but this year’s squad is under new management. Former BSU men’s hockey captain Ben Kinne took over as coach in June, hoping to propel the Lumberjacks to their first winning season since 2016.

Bemidji began their season tonight hosting rival Moorhead. Some slick puck movement by Benjamin O’Leary to Dominic Arndt gave Bemidji a 1-0 nothing lead in the first period, but the Spuds went on to beat Bemidji 5-1.
