Possible Northern Lights Display Tonight
Northern Lights may be in the forecast Thursday and Friday.
On a scale of 0-9, the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, listed the Aurora activity at the high rating of 6.
This means Minnesota is likely to see the Northern lights.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration also reported that, “geomagnetic storms continue as coronal hole high speed stream effects persist.”
The event should continue from September 29th to the 30th if skies stay clear.
