The track and field season approaches its end, and several Park Rapids athletes look to finish with a bang.
The sixth straight section title gives the girls’ team a solid starting block.

Senior Megan Grimes reaches the Class A State Meet for the fourth time.
She runs her second 100 meter hurdles and her third 4 x 200 meter relay.
Grimes offers advice to her younger teammates in the 4 x 200m, Abby Eystad, Abby Mueller, and Jaiden McCollum.

Sophomore Lydia Kantonen qualifies in the 3200m and the 4 x 800m.  The relay team also includes Ellery Overmyer, Megan Olson, and Tori Hilmanowski. Kantonen plans to keep it simple in the 3200m.

Senior Isaac Overmyer represents the Panthers’ boys team in his fourth trip to state in the 3200m.  He previously finished ninth, sixth, and fourth.
