In Focus: Mask & Rose Theater Presents “Labels”
A play in Bemidji is spreading a message through the art of theater that labels don’t define us. The idea behind the production came from work by National Public Radio’s Michelle Norris, who asked people to say six honest words about race relationships in the United States. For this week’s In Focus, our Catherine Silver shows us how the Mask & Rose Theater company is coming together to create a conversation about labels.
