Bemidji Education Association Honors Local Teachers and Staff

Wednesday morning was full of applause and cheering as teachers, bus drivers, custodians and secretaries were honored by the Bemidji Education Association. Three special awards were given: Teacher of the Year, Support Professional of the Year and Lay Educator of the Year. Other staff were also recognized for their service, to the district for up to 30 years. Superintendent of schools Dr. James Hess also went over goals for the 2015-2016 school year that’s about to begin.
