State Rep. Josh Heintzeman Visits CTC

The Consolidated Telecom Company in Brainerd has been using a special endowment called Minnesota Border to Border Broadband Grant to help fund a major project. The project is being used to bring high-speed internet to two hundred and forty seven locations and ninety under served locations in Cass, Crow Wing and Morrison counties

Representative Heintzeman listened to the committee as they talked about the progress of their project and a few of their concerns with the grant.

The total cost of the full project is 4.3million dollars. The remaining 2.2 million in matching funds will be supplied by a private investment made by CTC.
