Five bouts into his professional Mixed Martial Arts fighting career, Solway’s Kevin Clark owns a record of 4-1, winning his last four. MAV-TV aired the last fight, which ended with Clark’s opponent unconscious.

Most MMA fighters in the area come from wrestling backgrounds, due to the sport’s regional popularity. Clark works against the grain with  jiujitsu in his free-style technique. The “Annishanabe Kid” creates matchup nightmares for opponents with his ability to fight ambidextrously.

Clark works and trains in Fargo most days, but on weekends and days off, he works out with Billy Fisher in Bemidji. Clark trains two to four hours every day, and increases the work-outs to four to five hours when approaching his fights. Every minute is worth it when the big fight finally arrives.
