Rochester Pharmacist Accused of Murdering Wife by Poison

A pharmacist in Rochester, MN is in custody and is facing charges he murdered his wife by poisoning her.

Police say Connor Bowman’s wife, Betty, fell ill last August. Doctors admitted her to the emergency room, and she died several days later.

Investigators say they received a tip that her 30-year-old husband had poisoned her. Authorities worked with the medical examiner’s office to determine what happened.

Bowman is a pharmacist and poison control specialist. He also previously worked at the Mayo Clinic.

Bowman faces second-degree murder charges and is being held on $2 million bail.
