Ojibwe Camp Keeps Language and Culture Alive
It’s never too young to get back to your roots, nor is it ever too late.
That’s why the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians are making sure there’s always an opportunity to learn.
The annual Red Lake Ojibwe Language and Culture camp returns for its fourth year and number of sign-ups have tripled since it first started. Only in its first day, it is apparent that the Ojibwe language and culture is staying alive.
Admission is free but limited in number. If interested in participating or for more information, contact Red Lake Chemical Health at 218-679-3392 or Ponemah Outpatient.
The Camp is hosted by Red Lake Head Start Immersion School, Red Lake Chemical Health, and Red Lake Economic Development and Planning.
