Wolverine pride was seen throughout Wadena this week. Wadena Deer Creek sophomores, juniors and senior were out volunteering and giving back in the community during their Day of Caring. And this year four National Honors Society seniors organized the event.

The high schoolers raked leaves, did yard work and washed windows for over 90 homes in the area. And most of the homeowners say the work would be tough for them to do without the high schoolers’ help.

After a day filled with helping the community the wolverine gathered for pizza in the park.
