Brainerd City Council Announces Improved Property Tax

Last week the Brainerd City council held a public hearing to discuss the property tax increase. On Monday they announced that they have decided to go against the proposed seven and a half percent increase.

The council is hoping that this decision will benefit the taxpayers and the city as well.

The council plans to monitor the funds throughout the year.

The council believes that the city’s finances are in good shape.
