Meth Reportedly Found at Home of MN Man Charged with Attempted Murder of Drug Agents

A search warrant released Monday says investigators found methamphetamine while searching the home of a Minnesota man who’s now charged with attempted murder in the shootings of five drug task force officers.

Documents released earlier show that investigators suspected 64-year-old Karl Holmberg and his wife of selling methamphetamine when they raided their house near Princeton on Oct. 12. Five officers suffered non-fatal injuries when the gunfire broke out.

Holmberg was charged the next day with attempted first-degree murder of a peace officer and first-degree assault of a peace officer. He remains in jail.
