Lakeland Currents host Bethany Wesley welcomes Maggie Montgomery, General Manager of Northern Community Radio, and Darryl Northbird, Bemijigamaag Sanford Center Powwow Organizer. Together, they’ll discuss planning efforts behind this major event taking place at the Sanford Center in Bemidji on Saturday, April 23rd. Also, they’ll describe some of the history of Powwows in our region, and what folks can expect to experience at this unique cultural event.
