Lakeland Currents host Ray Gildow welcomes Lindsey Ketchel, Executive Director of the Leech Lake Area Watershed Foundation, and John Sumption, who serves as Leech Lake Area Watershed Foundation’s part time conservation director. The Leech Lake Area Watershed Foundation has been a strong regional conservation organization in the North Central Lakes region for the past 16 years. They have historically focused their work on protecting sensitive shore land through fee title and conservation easements. Viewers will learn more about their current work to protect tullibee lakes, understanding conservation easements and how protecting land from disturbance helps protect our lakes water quality within a watershed approach.
