White Earth Nation Welcomes First Bison Calf to Restoration Program

The White Earth Nation started a program a few years back to help restore the bison population in Anishinaabe lands. Earlier this month, the program welcomed its first calf, marking a new chapter in the band’s ongoing efforts to bring the animal back.
