Walleye Classic Gets Renamed

The Kraus-Anderson Walleye Classic will be taking on a new name next year.

Bemidji’s branch of the Knights of Columbus will take over. It’s a company that holds a lot of Kraus-Anderson’s ideals about supporting the community, making them a positive choice to succeed the company in running the tournament.

The Knights plan to keep the sponsors and charities in the loop that have been involved for years. All of them get a cut of the money the tournament raises.

Over the last 15 years, Kraus-Anderson has raised over $600,000 for Bemidji community organizations in their effort to give back.
