Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Girls’ Soccer Beats Melrose 7-3 at Home

Just past the midway point of their season, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley girls’ soccer was 4-4, a big turnaround from their 2-8-2 record just a year ago. On Monday, the team had a chance to get back above .500 for the first time since a 6-0 win in their season opener at Melrose, and as it happened, the Wolves played the Dutchmen again at home.

WHA went on to win 7-3. Delaney Collins finished with a hat trick and Elizabeth Cairns had two goals on the night.
