Wadena-Deer Creek Softball Knocked Out of Section Tourney by Hawley

On Wednesday, Wadena-Deer Creek softball was in the Section 8A elimination bracket taking on Hawley. Both were the 1-seeds in their respective subsections.

Wadena-Deer Creek was knocked about the tournament after falling 3-0 to Hawley. The Nuggets would beat Thief River Falls in the game after and will play Menahga in the elimination bracket final on Thursday.
