Voters Debate Position at DFL Caucus

DFL voters in Beltrami County had a tough decision to make this week. It’s the same as the rest of the nation’s democrats, who are in the process of making the party’s nomination decision through assigning delegates at local caucus events. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton were both looking for 77 delegates in Minnesota. That’s just a fraction of the over 2,300 a candidate needs to secure the party bid.

As of Tuesday night, Sanders was declared the winner in Minnesota with 42 delegates secured. Clinton had gathered 24. From Clinton’s leadership and experience to the economic improvements Sanders is promising, there were many things for party members to debate at caucus time.
