Volunteer Recognition

Volunteers receive some payback for their good deeds at the 41st annual Crow Wing County Volunteer Recognition Banquet in Baxter.
Of the 1,241 volunteers currently involved in the Crow Wing County Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), about 500 attend the event.
RSVP matches volunteers’ interests and abilities with a fitting task. The group has been focusing on both kids and the elderly. The volunteers work on ways to keep older folks in their own homes.
Another area of focus involves a healthy food directive.
RSVP tries to stock the five Crow Wing County food shelves with healthy options.
