VIRAL PHOTO: 49 Birds Appear Over Orlando Shooting Victims Memorial

During a candlelight vigil in Orlando, a photographer came to a surprise as she counted the birds in a photo she took, as the names of 49 victims were being read aloud – there were 49 birds.

The photographer, who do not want to be named, said she noticed a flock of birds flying by during the vigil Monday. She snapped a quick photo but did not make much of it until she counted the birds.

“Seeing the birds made me feel a sense of pease about the tragedy,” she told CNN.

No one knew where the birds came from. The Dr. Phillips Performing Arts center, where the vigil was held, said they did not release the birds.
