Vene Named Beltrami Board Chair

Joe Vene has been serving on the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners since 2004. The position of board chair rotates every year. Vene has held this position before in the time he’s served.

He hopes to continue pushing for veteran’s rights, specifically when it concerns the construction of a veteran’s home in the Bemidji area, while he’s chair. He replaces Keith Winger, who served as chair in 2015.
