Vehicle Accident In Morrison County Injures Teens

A two vehicle accident left teenagers in Buh Township, northwest of Pierz, with injuries.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver was 15-year-old Caleb Meyer of Pierz, Minnesota. Meyer was driving a Buick LeSabre northbound on 255th Avenue when he went through the stop sign at the intersection of 255th Avenue and 183rd Street.

Meyer’s vehicle then hit a Chevy Cavalier that was traveling westbound on 183rd Street, driven by 16-year-old Elizabeth Dickmann. Dickmann and her 13-year-old passenger were injured and transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital where they were treated and released.

The Morrision County Sheriff’s Office, Pierz Fire Department, Pierz First Response Team and the Gold Cross Ambulance were on the scene.
