Ugly Sweater Day in Nisswa

The ugly sweaters have come to town. Nisswa on Saturday hosted a day filled with ugly sweater themed activities. They started the day with Nissswa’s first ugly sweater shopping day.
Nisswa’s Chamber office gave free Chambers bucks to anyone wearing an ugly sweater and double if they had a City of Lights shop local pin. The businesses say the ugly sweater day gave shoppers a chance to have some extra fun while holiday shopping.
Nisswa’s ugly sweater shopping day was planned on the same day as the Gull Lake Events’ ugly sweater pub-crawl to raise money for a local charity.
Ugly sweater shoppers and pub-crawlers say it was a fun twist to help support a local charity and local businesses.
Gull Lake Events says the toys from the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl will be distributed this week.
