Two-Vehicle Crash Northwest Of Pierz Results In Injury

A two-vehicle crash northwest of Pierz resulted in injury on Thursday, April 18, 2019.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 12:19 p.m. Thursday their office received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hawthorn Road and 235th Avenue, around four miles northwest of Pierz in Buh Township.

According to the sheriff’s office, 24-year-old Pacer Demo of Pierz was traveling north on 235th Avenue when she failed to yield at a stop sign. She then struck a vehicle in the intersection driven by 56-year-old Ronald Stuckmayer, also of Pierz.

Demo was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls by Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service with unknown injuries. Stuckmayer was not injured. Both vehicles involved sustained severe damage.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service.
