Two Planes Overturned At Bemidji Airport After Storm
Two planes were flipped over at Bemidji Regional Airport after an early morning storm hit the Bemidji-area Thursday. One other plane was spun around and have sustained damages.
All three planes were Cessna single-engine aircrafts owned by Bemidji Aviation. They were not commercial aircrafts.
“We’ve never had a plane damaged from a storm since I’ve been here these 16 years,” said Bemidji Aviation’s vice president Tracie Walter.
Bemidji Aviation reports one plane is completely destroyed, while the plane that was spun around will be rebuilt. The third aircraft is still being looked at.
