Tribal Flags Bring Nations Together

Leech Lake and Red Lake reservation leaders hope to strengthen relationships with the Beltrami County court system.

The hope with this ceremony was to remind everyone that the courts belong to everyone and all people, regardless of race, are treated equally. Beltrami County judges, as well as Leech Lake chairwoman Carri Jones and Red Lake secretary Don Cook, all expressed their happiness with an event that had been developing for over a year.
