TrekNorth Receives National Honor

A charter school in Bemidji has gained some national recognition.

TrekNorth was named the second-best high school in Minnesota and the No. 74 school in America, according to rankings from U.S. World News and Report.

A number of factors go into these ratings, and scores from advanced placement tests play a major role. The statistics used to calculate the new ratings came from 2014 scores.

On average, only 20% of students in both Minnesota and nationally graduated having passed at least one AP test in their senior year. At TrekNorth, that number is much higher at 68%.
