Tourism Booms in Brainerd During 2014-15 Winter Season

The Brainerd Lakes Area during the winter is know for their hockey, ice fishing and snow. And despite not having that much snow this year the tourists came to Brainerd in record numbers.

Mount Ski Gull was the one place that did have snow this year. And Visit Brainerd says, by them adding new attractions to their slopes, it helped bring more people to the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Visit Brainerd says they’ve been going to all the trade shows in the area, from the Twin Cities to Fargo, ND. And they’re expecting the tourism numbers to continue through the spring and fall.
