Three men were arrested and charged after a drug bust in Redby Friday.

The Red Lake Department of Public Safety Drug Task Force and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a rural residence in Redby for illegal drugs.

The search warrant resulted in a seizure of approximately 35 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of heroin, and two firearms with one firearm identified as an illegal weapon. Cash and precious metals were also seized. The street value of seized drugs is an estimated $3,500.00, the Red Lake Police Department say.

The men aged 34, 33 and 23 were taken into custody at the residence and face charges of selling and possession of controlled substances, disorderly house and child endangerment. All three were transferred to the Red Lake Detention Center.

The Drug Task Force and ERT is operated by the Red Lake Department of Public Safety and consist of the Criminal Investigation, Patrol and Conservation Enforcement division.

The Red Lake Department of Public Safety continues to conduct illegal narcotics and drug enforcment to improve community health and public safety.

Authorities continue seeking the public’s help in identifiying person(s) suspected of selling or trafficking illegal drugs. Community members who do wish to share information can always remain anonoymous.
