The search for the new Fire Marshal Deputy Chief started after the restructuring of the fire department several months ago. Seventeen applicants applied for the position.

Today they announced the three candidates who will continue in the process to be chosen as the new Fire Marshal Deputy Chief. The board was happy with the selection of applicants they received. The chosen candidate will have several responsibilities in the new position. They are hoping to have a candidate chosen and employed within a month.
