The Nisswa Fall Festival Brings The Heat With Their Annual Smoking Hot BBQ Challenge

The heat was on at the Nisswa Chamber BBQ rib Cook off. 19 competitors spent the day laboring over their hot BBQ pits cooking up the best BBQ in Crow Wing County.

With 43 years of hosting the fall festival the celebration has become a beloved Nisswa tradition.

Rib lovers from all over the state flock to the event every year. Individuals like the Mccomas family organize their vacations around the rib fest.

The competition was steep as the BBQ masters prepared and served their own secret recipe sauce.

The winning rib team received 650 dollars.
