The Lakes Area Unlimited Learning Host Mental Health Awareness Speaker

It’s a normal custom for people to worry about their physical health. But many people forget that their mental health is just as important. Mary Marana from the crisis Line and referral service talked about her experiences supporting the mental illness community.

The crisis line has been serving local communities since nineteen eighty-eight and they give aid to people suffering from several different crisis.

There are many different mental illnesses but some of the most prevalent are depression and suicide. These illnesses can plague anyone of any age.

When it comes to mental illness; being kind and willing to listen could save someone’s life.
