The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes Its Newest Member

On its Facebook page the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office introduced the newest member to the department, K9 Mac!

Mac is a Belgian Malinois assigned to Deputy Nohre.

Mac and Deputy Nohre begin 10 weeks of training in September and upon their completion will return to the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office as a dual purpose K9 certified in tracking, apprehension and narcotics detection.

In the post on Facebook, the sheriff’s office thanks the community for their continued support of their K9 program, as well as our other programs and initiatives as we work to protect the lives, rights, privileges and property of the citizens of Beltrami County.
