Team USA Wins Two Games on Tuesday

Team USA women’s curling team claimed two wins March 22 to keep the dream alive at the 2016 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship being held in Swift Current, Sask. The U.S. team consists of Erika Brown, Nicole Joraanstad, Allison Potting, Bemidji-native Natalie Nicholson, and alternate Tabitha Peterson. The team beat Korea 10-3 early Tuesday then went on to defeat Russia 6-5 in overtime.

Team USA now has a 3-4 record with four games remaining in the round robin. Tuesday’s wins could give the women’s team the momentum they need to beat German and Japan on Wednesday.
