Skates up for the Babe City Rollers, Fundraises for Local Charity

Skates up!

Bemidji’s very own roller derby team returns to the ring, competing against long-time rivals the Fargo Moorheads and fundraising for a local non-profit no-kill animal shelter, the Great River Rescue.

Babe City Rollers is a non-profit charitable organization themselves. They select a community organization to fundraise for each game.

The team is also recruiting. They have practices every Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Meanwhile, the Great River Rescue adopts about 30 pets each month and are looking for financial support and/or volunteers.
