Significant Snow Storm To Hit Minnesota
The National Weather Service announced a “significant” winter storm could hit Thursday night in Minnesota. The storm could continue on through Friday in various areas of the state.
The statement was issued Tuesday morning and will continue until 4:45 A-M Wednesday. An update to the statement said that winds would increase as well later this week.
The storm has shifted south, bringing the heaviest amounts of snow to Southeastern North Dakota and West Central Minnesota. The NWS stated that there could be further shifts in where the heavy snow lands along with drifting problems across the area.
The storm will impact travel for the rest of the work week according to the Weather Service.
