UPDATE: Suspects Charged In Mahnomen County Shooting

UPDATE – The suspects of shots fired at a residential home and vehicles in Mahnomen County have been identified and charged with felony, drive-by shooting and felony fleeing an officer on Feb. 6.

The two suspects identified in the shooting are 19-year-old Nathan Alan Kotts of Bemidji and 23-year-old Brady Elijah Wade of Cass Lake.

Law enforcement in Mahnomen County responded to the Riverland housing area for a report of shots fired on Feb. 4 at 12:27 a.m. According to a release from the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect’s vehicle was located and a short pursuit ensued. Two individuals were taken into custody.

Both Kotts and Wade are set at a $15,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond. Both are set to appear in court next week.
