MMWC Names Shannon Wussow as Executive Director

Mid Minnesota Women’s Center (MMWC) has named Shannon Wussow, Brainerd, as the new Executive Director.

MMWC provides safety, advocacy, empowerment for abuse victims and education about abuse for the community. Wussow will lead a staff of 22 and manage two facilities, the shelter and child safety center which are both located in Brainerd.

Wussow is a graduate of Little Falls Community High School, and has a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Studies from St. Cloud State University.

She will begin her new duties January 3, 2017.
