Search Continues In Bemidji For Missing Teen

A search effort is underway in Bemidji for a missing teenager. Jeremy Jourdain was last seen on Halloween night and has not been heard from since.

Jourdain was with friends near Lueken’s south before suddenly leaving. Ethan Burnette says he chased after Jourdain near the New Life Church area of the Nymore neighborhood.

Family members describe him as a quiet, good kid who preferred to be home. They say he’s never done this before.

Jourdain lives in Cass Lake, but was supposed to be staying with his sister who lives near the church. He does not have a working cell phone on him.

The family is going door to door, asking residents to help assist with the search by looking on their property, tool sheds and other places where he could be.
The Bemidji Police say they will be assisting with a ground search. The Leech Lake Department of Resource Management looked in the swamp areas by the Sanford Center. Border Patrol and Minnesota State Patrol will performing aerial searches as well.

Jeremy’s family are hoping for his safe return. Jourdain is described as a seventeen-year-old Native American male, 6’4″ tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey and blue hooded sweatshirt with grey sweatpants.
