Rosenmeier Forum Talks Higher Education

74% of jobs in 2020 will require a secondary degree. And because the Minnesota State College and Universities System (MnSCU) expects that projection to become a reality, they’re looking to get Minnesota students ready and educated to join the workforce. During today’s Rosenmeier Forum on High Education, the panel says it’s as important for educators and parents to get their high school students ready for college as it is for colleges to give their students the keys for success.
During his State of the Union Address this year, President Barrack Obama proposed making two-year community colleges free to help boast college graduation rates.
Minnesota State College and Universities System educates 58% of the states undergraduates and with a more diverse population enrolling into their schools MnSCU says it’s their job to find the best way to educate them.
