Roseau Volleyball Off To Hot Start Under Hayden

As a Roseau alum, Becky Hayden says she always had, what she called, a lot of Ram pride. But ever since taking over as the head volleyball coach, she says it’s gotten even more personal.

The Rams are flourishing in Hayden’s inaugural season, sitting 12 games over .500 while also ranking 12th in the state in Class AA. But she says the team has made her job easy, after she inherited a group that fell just one game short of the Class AA state tournament last year, falling to Perham in the Section 8AA final.

The Rams say last season, specifically that section final loss, has pushed them to be that much better this time around. And they believe they have the team and the tools to make it all the way.
