Reps Nolan and Walz Visit With Local Veterans

It was apparent from the beginning that Representatives Rick Nolan and Tim Walz cared about issues currently affecting Veterans in Minnesota. At Saturday’s meeting with local veterans the two talked about those issues as well as heard what some veterans had to say about their experiences. The issues especially hit close to home for Walz, who is the highest ranking enlisted soldier to ever serve in Congress. And because of these meetings that have taken place over the past couple of days, both congressmen and veterans believe that a bill could be passed in Washington to further help veteran services.
