Registration for the 14th Annual Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival Underway

The 14th annual Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival is coming up.

The Dragon Boat Festival will take place on July 31 to August 3. Team managers and people who were interested in creating a team for the festival attended a 2019 Pre-Paddle Party at Keg ‘N’ Cork in Bemidji to learn more about the event.

This year, the planning committee has added a new championship award division. Early bird registration will start tomorrow.

“You don’t have to have your team figured out. You can register your team, know that you’re going to have one and figure out who’s going to be on your team, your paddlers throughout the summer,” Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival Marketing Coordinator Rosie Berg said.
