Red Lake Girls’ Basketball Preview

The Red Lake basketball team enters this season on the heals of one of its best seasons, ever. The Warriors should be fully loaded for another strong year after losing only one player to graduation last season. Red Lake brings four seniors back, looking to end their high school careers in style. The Warriors want more than just a nice senior send-off. These girls demand respect. Red Lake ranked 5th in Class A last season by scoring 72 points per game. The Warriors have the skills to shoot over the top of a team and the speed to beat them down the floor. Red Lake allowed only 49.3 points per game last year, but the team wants to lower that number even further with some high-pressure defense. It’s hard to imagine the team improving much from last season, but if they do, the Warriors will go a long way.
