Now that Christmas Day has past, Crow Win Power and the Brainerd Arboretum are asking the Brainerd Lakes Area to dispose of their Christmas trees responsibly.
The program spreads across the Brainerd Lakes Area from Pine River to Brainerd to Crosby and they even reach south to Little Falls.
Recycled Christmas will get chipped down before being brought to Brainerd’s Northland Arboretum. And Crow Wing Power says it’s important to dispose of them correct rather than just throwing them into a field.
Crow Wing Power says Christmas trees should have the ornaments and the stands removed before they’re being recycled.
