Quinn Reinstated as Itasca County’s Veteran’s Service Officer

The Itasca County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a motion reinstating Hugh Quinn as the county’s Veterans Services Officer with the condition the office be established as an Itasca County Department, according to an article posted on grandrapidsmn.com. In addition, Quinn would now report directly to the county board.

Quinn’s reinstatement comes after several weeks of controversy regarding his resignation and being dismissed by Itasca County Administrator Trish Harren, who is currently on paid suspension until April 15.
